What's the deal with the 'Ski Along'? Print
Oct 05, 2008 at 01:40 AM

Candidates for the Mont Ripley Ski Patrol must ski at Level 7 or above on the PSIA ability scale. To help make this determination, there is a Ski Along at Mont Ripley.

Our afternoon will be spent skiing. You will be evaluated by several of our Ski Patrol instructors. We will have alpine + telemark + snowboard patrollers as demonstrators and evaluators. After skiing together and looking at your individual skill levels, we will tell you, individually, if you will continue with the course in January.

Those who are not at the required Level 7 will be asked to change to a different ski / snowboard class.
